Amaël specializes in financing, providing expert advice to banks, funds, and borrowers on structuring and implementing project finance, corporate finance, and asset finance transactions. He has extensive experience in financing infrastructure projects, particularly in the renewable energy sector, both in France and Africa. His expertise extends to senior and mezzanine bond financing as well.
In addition, Amaël is actively involved in corporate and M&A matters within the renewable energy industry. He advises clients on establishing co-development and consortium agreements for large-scale projects and conducts comprehensive project audits.
In litigation, Amaël represents clients before civil and criminal courts in cases related to banking and consumer law. He handles matters such as group actions and issues involving unfair, deceptive, or aggressive commercial practices on behalf of both companies and consumer associations.
He joined the firm after several years' experience in international business law firms in Paris (Hogan Lovells, Norton Rose) and at the European Investment Bank (EIB) in Luxembourg.
Amaël was recognized as Ones to Watch in the Banking and Finance Law category of the Best Lawyers 2024 ranking. He is a guest lecturer at the Montpellier Bar School, where he runs a course on project financing. He is also a member of the local office of the union ACE - Avocats Ensemble.
